About Mrs. Hum

A Journey from Orphan to Guardian of Thousands

Born an orphan, Mrs. Hum’s life was marked by hardship from the very beginning. With no family to rely on, she started working in a restaurant at a young age, struggling to make ends meet. But even in her own struggle, she found a purpose greater than herself—helping the homeless and caring for abandoned children on the streets.

As soon as she could afford to, Mrs. Hum began adopting and caring for children left to die. What started as a single act of kindness soon grew into a lifelong mission. Over the past 30 years, she has adopted, raised, and nurtured more than 4,500 children, giving them not only a home but also a future. Her compassion transformed countless lives, sending these children back into society with the education, love, and values they needed to thrive.

To provide a safe and nurturing environment, Mrs. Hum built an extraordinary compound capable of housing over 500 children. This sanctuary includes a school, a church, a prayer facility, and a sports area, ensuring a holistic upbringing regardless of religion, faith, color, or belief. Each child is given her last name until the age of 18, allowing them the freedom to choose their identity as they step into adulthood. More than just a home, this sanctuary is a foundation of strength, teaching children self-defense, education, health, and life skills that prepare them for the future.

But Mrs. Hum’s vision doesn’t stop here. She now aims to expand her mission globally, calling upon others to join her cause of providing motherly love to motherless children worldwide. Organizations with similar aspirations are welcome to collaborate, extending care and support to those in need across the globe.

Her passion for unity and love has taken her across 22 countries, where she has shared her knowledge and experiences through seminars, inspiring families and organizations to take part in this noble cause. Currently, she is in the process of establishing two new facilities dedicated to caring for veterans in both the United States and Vietnam. Through these centers, she hopes to foster friendship, healing, and unity between the two nations, proving that love and humanity transcend borders.

To further solidify her commitment to her beliefs, Mrs. Hum became a U.S. citizen and joined the U.S. Special Forces Reserve. Her service stands as a testament to her unwavering dedication to humanity—proving that no matter where we come from, we are all part of the same world. She firmly believes that if any part of our global community is in pain, we should all feel it and work together to bring love, peace, and healing.

Mrs. Hum’s life is a powerful story of resilience, love, and selfless service. She has dedicated herself to ensuring that no child feels abandoned and that every person, regardless of background, has the opportunity to feel loved and supported. Her journey continues, and with every child she helps, her legacy of kindness grows stronger, inspiring the world to embrace compassion and unity.

A Home for Over 4,500 Children

Over the past 30 years, Mrs. Hum has rescued and raised more than 4,500 children—providing them not just with shelter, but with a loving home. These children, once abandoned, have been given a second chance at life under her care.

To ensure they receive proper education, safety, and emotional support, she built a self-sustaining facility capable of housing over 500 children at a time. This remarkable compound includes:

🏡 Safe & Nurturing Housing – A clean and secure environment where children grow up with love.
📚 Education & Life Skills – A school that equips them with the knowledge to build their futures.
🙏 Spiritual & Emotional Support – A place for prayer and personal growth, open to all faiths.
Sports & Self-Defense Training – Helping children develop confidence and strength.
💖 Early Childhood Education – Providing the youngest ones with a strong foundation.

Every child she raises carries her last name until they turn 18, symbolizing the deep bond she forms with them. By then, they are free to choose their own identity, but they leave her home equipped with the values, skills, and confidence to succeed in life.

Expanding the Mission to the World

Mrs. Hum believes that no child should grow up without love, and her vision extends far beyond Vietnam. She has traveled across 22 countries, giving seminars and educational training to organizations and families on how to provide proper care for orphaned children.

Now, her goal is to expand this mission globally—inspiring others to build similar homes and create a movement of love, care, and support for orphans everywhere.

She welcomes individuals, families, and organizations who share her vision to join forces and make a lasting impact.

Mrs. Hum’s work is not just about children—it’s about building a world where love, care, and humanity triumph over division. She is currently in the process of launching two new facilities, dedicated to helping both orphans and war veterans. These centers will serve as a symbol of friendship and unity between nations, proving that despite history, we can heal, support, and stand together.

Her belief is simple:

“The world is like one body. If one part is in pain, the whole body suffers. We must heal together, with love and peace.”

To reinforce this message, she made a life-changing decision—she became a U.S. citizen and joined the U.S. Special Forces Reserve. This step was not about war but about being ready to serve, protect, and provide aid wherever needed.
